Are you Ready?? Competition Starts Tomorrow!

posted April 23, 2021 by Susan Brownlow - viewed 211 times

We are looking forward to seeing 19 of our 20 teams (Our Cadet 6 team have a BYE!) take the court for Week one games tomorrow!

If you still need to collect or change a uniform..... tonight is the only opportunity to do that!!!

Lisa will not be at Meadowbank Park tomorrow morning.

Please contact her ASAP if necessary!

I would like to remind everyone that COVID Guidelines are still in place however it will be much more “normal” than 2020!

Before the game….  Please make sure the following happens:

·      Fingernails are short and smooth

·      No jewellery (taping of earrings is NOT permitted)

·      Breakfast and lunch – food is fuel!

·      Plenty of water – before during and after the game!

·      Sunscreen is applied before the game

·      Comets dress, black scungies and white ankle socks or Comets socks

Whatever your game time …. Please ensure you are at your court at least 30 mins before game time. Court numbers can be found on the home page of the Comets website or under the Fixtures and Results Tab on the ERNA website. Court maps can be found on both websites and court numbers are in the centre of each court! Team contact lists are found under the About the Comets tab in PDF format.

Please take the time to have a read of the Code of Conduct for Supporters, Parents, Players and Officials on our Comets website (under the Playing netball tab)

As a club we expect the highest standards of behaviour from all our members.

We ask that our supporters and parents always remember that it is a game and that comments should always be positive.

On behalf of your 2021 Comets Committee, I just want to wish everyone a great season making new friends, learning new skills and having fun! Special thanks to all our volunteer Managers and Coaches who have put up their hands to help out. Our players are very grateful!

Good luck and “ GO COMETS”
