Grand Finals tomorrow!

We are well and truly at the pointy end of the year and two of our teams are playing tomorrow.  Our 11/4's will be playing at 10am on Court 9 and our 15/1s at 12pm on Court 17.

There will be an ERNA presentation at the end of the game, near the playground so it's important to make your way over there quickly to get your trophy.

It's a very nerve wracking day for our girls, mixed with excitement and a whole swag of emotions.  It can be equally so for our sideline so I will remind everyone that sideline comments should remain positive and encouraging.  

There will be senior coaches in attendance at our 11/4 game to assist and encourage the team where needed and I will be assisting Harold on the 15/1s game.  I feel very lucky to be asked to help out.

I LOVE Grand Final day and irrespective of the outcome, the most important thing is that our girls and their coaches feel supported by us. 

We also have some of our umpires officiating tomorrow.  I hope you get the nicer games (like ours), but whoever you get will be very lucky to have you as their umpire.  

I also want to wish our Cadet 4 coach, Claire De Mellow a great game tomorrow at 2pm.  She isn't playing for Comets but that won't stop Comets from cheering her on.   

Let's all remember ... smiling is compulsory!  ðŸ˜Š  See you on the sideline.
