A reminder from Trevor for us to remain COVID-19 vigilant and to follow the COVID-19 Rules & Requirements.
Most of these should be second nature by now but it does appear that some participants have forgotten.
If you’re unwell, stay away and get tested
· If you’ve been to any COVID-19 case locations in NSW or to Victoria since 13th May you need to follow the guidelines on the NSW Health websitehttps://www.health.nsw.gov.au/Infectious/covid-19/Pages/case-locations-and-alerts.aspx
· Practice physical distancing
o each team can only have 18 participants (which is not the same as 1 parent per player e.g. if a team has 10 players and 2 coaches who aren’t related to any players, then they can only have 6 other spectators)
o wait away from the courts until the final siren/bell sounds (i.e. stay off the concrete at Meadowbank and Brush Farm hard courts and stay around the edge of the oval at Brush Farm grass courts) as while the matches are underway there simply isn’t space for anyone for the next matches. Coaches who want to meet their teams before the previous match has finished should plan to do so away from the courts.
· All non-players must sign in with the QR codes provided – contract tracing is a key part of minimising the impact should COVID-19 return to NSW
· A full set of the ERNA Day Competition 2021 COVID-19 Rules & Requirements can be found on the ERNA website
